Wood Carving has reached its summit as a fine art in the hands of Uzbek craftsmen in the last few centuries due to their infinite Patience and Passion for art. The masters of Tashkent use very delicate and intricate patterns in their work, which has led to many awards at world famous exhibitions and competitions.

Made by:   Master Alisher Azimov. A master of wood carving. Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in 1982. Graduated from Tashkent National Art College in 2000. In 1999 he was awarded Best Young Handicraftsman of Uzbekistan. The master participated in many domestic and international exhibitions.
